Gears that last??

So have you re-geared?? I have already stated that finding the right person is key... not "defective" gears.
I doubt seriously that any reputable gear manufacturer is putting out defective gears. You either know how to hob gears, or you don't. Most of us know that its the installation and setup of the gears that is most important in getting a set to last. Its possible, some nare-the-well mechanics blame the gears when rationalizing premature failures to unsuspecting customers. So, its vital that you only use a shop and mechanic that a) has done many, and can point you to happy customers with 30k+ miles of proof, 2) offer a warranty past 12 months or 12k miles, and iii) know Jeep products, not just Fords and Chevys.
I had 4.56's installed in my Ram 2500 4x4. I ran Amsoil Severe Gear fluid. Never a peep from them is 70,000 miles (superior)
