I have a custom by me magnaflow under the drivers seat and love the sound...I noticed a slight power increase as well... Not really noticeable with the hard top...certainly not annoying with no top or soft top... I'm sure not for everyone though...

I have the magnaflow, throtle response is better and i love the tone! Another nice thing is they are a lower profile then the stock one. Didn't need relocate the muffler and I havent hit it yet offroading. check out 4wd.com - good price

So that mounts in the stock spot, but just not as big?

X2 on the Cooltech magnaflow exhaust relocation kit... it was one of the 1st mods i performed and i couldn't be happier...

as a matter of fact, since then, i have purchased and installed just about everything that cooltech has to offer for our JK's....

great products, fair pricing, excellent service..., what more could you ask for?

Which one is quieter Magnaflow or Gibson?
i have magnaflow - accelerating sounds throaty, but when you get up to speed it quiets down and cannot hear. specs/gains are on magnaflow website.

If you are looking for a nice tone, that is not obnoxious when you're just cruising around, but is deep and throaty when you really get on it, this is an excellent option. I drove the jeep from northern Ontario down through PA and back one weekend in the summer and it was awesome. It doesn't matter what speed, you barely hear it until you hammer it down. I wouldn't compare the sound to stock, but I would not say its loud either. Let me know what you think of our clip.

This is a direct fit performance exhaust replacement. Installation is simple and can be done by yourself without any issue if you are interested. For more info, feel free to PM, e-mail or call me directly.
