Go Pro mounting
That shake, rattle and roll I have experienced, but it was a stupid oversight when swapping batteries at a very brief pause on a trail, I had forgotten to put a wifi backpack on and the camera rattled in the case
If you have a 3 or 4 and it's not shaking in the case I have no idea what would cause that
It's going to sound stupid but that rattle is so pronounced that it's super clear in the audio that there is physical movement somewhere...
But you have way more Jeep and most likely more technical experience based on all of the super helpful posts I've read over the past couple of years that I hate to insult you but with such an audible shake I can't imagine that the camera is not snug in its case and then it's mount

I'd worry about hitting that on something if it sat out that far. That's why I'm thinking a pole might be best for those shots. Here's some examples of what I'm looking for (not my pics, btw): <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=599067"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=599068"/>
May have learned today what the problem is. They redesigned the GoPro mounts to add a white plug that stops the vibration. Here you can see a new mount, my old mounts (which can't fit the plug), and the plug itself. Maybe this will help anytime I use the stick-on mounts!
In any case, hope this takes care of it.
