On the stock battery after two good pulls, starting on the 3rd the battery light came on, I was using the throttle also so the engine was revving. I suggest getting a dual battery setup & possibly a high output alternator if you are going to be using the winch much.
Dual battery is definitely a nice to have but isn't absolutely needed until you really over load the alternator by running lots of electronics at the same time.
One of the nicest perks of a dual battery set up is that you can always jump start yourself!

At what point is it a good idea to go to a high output alternator?
If the battery is old then yes you will have trouble but only two or three years won't be an issue.
We gotta wheel together again!
