Well i have to adjust it with more threads showing. It maybe has 3-4 and its better but it seemed to have more power by cranking it down a little more. Too bad it was surging. I havent looked for a vacuum leak yet bit Im sure the hoses i messes with are tight. Dont get me wrong though, Im still loving this thing.

I found this thread very helpful and wanted to add.
Just did the install myself. I went surprising well, I would rate it less difficult then installing a lift kit and way less rusty bolts to deal with.
My tips would be.
I am working with ripp to to tweek things a bit, but no major complaints.

My tips would be.
- Spray all bolts you are removing with a loosener the night before.
- A good set of cutting plyiers are very handy,
- a Upholstery Clip Removal Toolis very handy for all the push in plastic holders, h t t p://w w w.amazon.com/Tool-Aid-87810-Upholstery-Removal/dp/B000IHK1N6
- You will need at least a foot long extention and swivle. Deep and standard sockets were used.
- Gas shoots out when you pull out the first injector, so just be ready for that.
- Cut the main vacuum line when you pull the plenum, it needs to be revomed anyways.
- Access the far back spark plug the same way you get and the bottom of the EGR tube, through the passenger fender well, it makes it very easy.
- I bought a hat with lights in it a while ago, invaluable for working in the evening and looking in tight places. h t t p://toronto.flyerland.ca/products/marks-work-wearhouse-windriver-led-ball-cap-product-6108686
- And lastly I shaw that picture of Jack from avenger standing in the engine bay while working. That worked great, there is actually enough room to stand on the axle, however once the sc is in, that comfortable spot is gone.

Maybe you can give tech@rippmods.com a poke for me. A couple questions from weekend they haven't got back to me on yet.
thx.
thx.
Hey,
So do you guys suggest I get new headers at the same time and do them as one install. I have the Gibson dual, and read a few reviews about new headers really helping the RIPP SC.
Did you guys change out your headers?
