It is not a Directional tire, you can mount it with whichever side you like more facing out. The description on their website ...

Each Grappler has two sidewall designs so you can choose how your tires look. On the Trail Grappler one side has stylized lettering with V-shaped buttresses and the other has traditional lettering with flat buttresses.

The sidewall differences are cosmetic. I mounted my last set square side out, and still had the pull, but honestly it's not that bad. You only notice it if you take your hands on the wheel..

Default Tire Pull

I had a rotation and rebalance done at discount tire recently. After I got it back, it pulled to the right. I took it back and they switched the right side front and back but it still pulled. I took it back yet again.
A manager happened to be walking through the bay at that time, looked down, and casually told the tech that "this tire is mounted backwards". So they dismounted the tire, turned it around, and life is now perfect. I bet this is what happened to you when they mounted your tires.
