Schrockworks is a great product. I know you are looking at LOD and ARB, but I really liked the customer service at Schrockworks.

Of the two, I would say the LOD Stubby, but I prefer the MORE stubby.

I love the shrockworks stubby!!! But I need to reuse the stock fogs...it's a waste not to.

And I couldn't keep my cool with the wait time... They seem like a great group, itd stress me out too much paying for something I couldn't use for several months.

think of it this way. all three are very good looking bumpers. why not choose it on performance. I like having improved ground clearance and approach angles. I like the stubby because it gives the best approach angle and even tire clearance. the mid-width bumper however is a good compromise as it has a little of both the other to bumpers. I hope that helps.

I agree completely! I have debated this several times with guys that have gone full width. I continually see Jeep s of all kind that have their bumpers get in the way with approach angles. Maybe the rock crawlin out here in AZ is diff or something. Even this past weekend, I climbed this steep obstacle/fall and a TJ wanted to try it after me. He had a miserable time getting his tires to the wall because his bumper was hitting. He ended up having to approach it at a slight angle which then didnt put him on the right line to clear the obstacle. It got worse as his short wheel base didnt help and his front slid sideways nearly making him flop. Anyway, I see this over and over and over. There is no doubt that this kind of wheeling REQUIRES a stubby. If that isnt what you do, then it might not matter as much. Me? I dont need no stinking bumper!
