Yes, find some factory hooks (which you can probably find on jk-forum), unbolt the plastic bumper cover, cut out the holes, bolt everything back together.

I installed bigger hooks than what would fit at the factory points. I drilled my own holes in between the factory hook mounts. They've gotten a lot of use, but since they are inside the factory mounts they aren't supported as well and bend the bumper if I'm in real deep.

I did it but no pics, sorry. Yes, you just have to do some cutting and it's a fairly simple install. BTW, you have to cut the inside of the front bumper too, not just that square area.

Did this on the neighbor Jeep girl's JK Sunday, with my old stock hooks.

It's easy, but you have to cut out a decent size chunk of the ABS plastic, so I would recommend a sawsall for the inside of the bumper. A dremel works fine for the outside.

real easy to do, worst part is cutting the back side of the bumper, the plastic is a little thick back there. Where are you at in Michigan? i have a set of front and rear hooks i will sell you for $50. if it isnt too far, might even be worth the drive??
