I would have argued that for your application the best thing was probably a $150 set of Rancho control arm brackets for your DD that will go off road from time to time. The reason is that control arm brackets will both correct caster AND keep the control arms running at a more level angle. Obviously your lift has raised the body side mounts so now your control arms are running at a steeper angle which is a bit more rough in terms of pavement ride. There are pros and cons to both methods. The con to control arm brackets is a bit loss of ground clearance at your frame rail.....but that is really not a big deal for most, and the better pavement ride is a big plus for many.

Adjustability is often comparable between manufacturers. The real differences between brands come down to the style and quality of joints and the bends in the components for alignment or clearances. The method of adjustability sometimes comes into play but it shouldn't be a major factor. For your lift you should be able to get by with just the front lower arms to correct your caster. If what you have is working fine then swapping to something else isn't going to make a big difference.
Awesome! So just go with the MC front and rear TBs and it should be fine correct?

I'm in and out of a lot of threads and this one is getting longer. What is the current issue you're having after installing the lower arms? are you veering still? I would go back to you having messed with the steering box. That is not meant to be adjusted and that would concern me. I would in no way say that you need a full set of control arms. those rears aren't going to benefit you much. When you lift higher they become more necessary cuz the wheelbase keeps shrinking and you really need to stretch that rear axle back again as the tire gets into the front of the wheel well, and they allow you to tweak your rear pinion angle, but for you and your height it's not a big deal. Also, up front, if the lower arms you have now are achieving decent caster, then there is no reason to throw more money at a set of front arms. Again, when you lift higher it's a bit more important cuz you need to both reposition the axle forward AND adjust caster. I would save the money cuz that is not going to be the solution to any problem you are currently experiencing (you already corrected caster). The rear TB isn't going to make a difference to any steering issue you might have, but it is nice to have a centered axle. Keep in mind you are only off a tiny bit probably. The front TB would be useful to have regardless, but I really feel like we're coming back to that steering box that was fiddled with.

To summarize, I am not telling you that spending money on these things we discussed brands on is fixing any specific issue (you already corrected caster) but if you were going to buy things that is the brand I'd buy.

steering box is set just fine, I've been building cars for years mostly from the 70's and early 80's so adjusting them isn't voodoo to me, but I get where you're coming from.

Nor wandering any more like it was that's for sure! The LCA's seem to have done the job. I did notice lateral movement when checking the front end so yeah the track bar is next. I only asked about the other control arms if you thought they would be worth it but I see they're not. I'll probably get the Rubicon Express lower rears just so they match the fronts. I'll also probably get both TB's from MC.

Thank you for all your help and thank you to everyone that replied to help!

I just got an email from Metalcloak, which is how they do things, and they are having a 3-day 10% off and free shipping sale. Timing is nice if you do pull the trigger on those. I'd just get the front TB, but if you're set on doing a rear as well then go ahead.

I think so

Also have a Black Friday deal going live VERY soon!

Look to the geo brackets as an option too.

Are Rancho adjustable track bars and control arms any good?
