To be honest you get kind of used to it. When I first picked mine up after the lift was done, I went back and said I think the alignment was off. They checked the alignment and it was spot on. They said they thought it was the SS. I search around and found the theories about the SS. So I jacked up the front and sure enough, once both front tires lifted from the ground, the tires slightly turned left. There is just enough pressure from the SS to push it left.

So as long as your alignment is okay, and you can live with it, it will not cause any harm. Just don't fall asleep while driving. You will definately wind up in the left lane if you do.

There is no way I could just settle in and get used to it. I have a Rough Country 3.5 lift 35/12.50/17 Goodyear MTR/Kev. aftermarket wheels with 4.75 inch BS and I can run 75 down the highway and turn the steering wheel loose and she runs straight as it did no pulling or shaking. Don't even pull when you slam on the brakes stops straight and stays in lane. So something is not right with your rig I would look into how your lift is installed. Are you running wheel spacers?

I'll never get use to it... Bugs the crap out of me. I'm pulling off the bilstein ss tomorrow am and going back to stock, I'll report back tomorrow afternoon.

I'm running an aftermarket hydraulic stabilzer instead of the fancier gas charged stabilizer for this reason. I don't want the gas charged stabilizer pushing on my steering and causing me to fight against it. If/when a gas stabilizer comes out like the prototype that Fox built, I will get a gas charged one.

Add me to the group removing the bilstein ss. I know it's the cause of the left pull and it sux. Wish I had seen this on the forum before I purchased it.

Anyone else with the fox setup have any problems like this??

I have had the fox SS since April and works flawlessly. If I didn't move to hydraulic steering it would still be on my jeep no doubt about it. Well worth the money.

Hey, has anyone just moved the bracket a little further down the arm to align with the 'natural' pressure rest/stop of the Bilstein ss?

For a while, FOX steering stabilizers had a pull to the left problem but, it was easily rectified- they were just shipping with too much nitrogen pressure. Since they are adjustable pressure you just needed to lower it and good to go!!!

OP- did you adjust your steering after the lift? It only takes about 5 minutes to do so! (VERY easy!) It won't make any actual difference in pull (AFAIK) but, it will help with the perception of pull as you can re-center the steering wheel so, makes a big psychological difference!
