Soak it with wd, and your gonna need an extractor that will bite into the center of the broken piece.

Soaked it with WD 40, I'm going to have to drill through the stuck spark plug? Do you think it's alright to drive like this..thinking letting a professional do this.

dont think you are going to want to drive it down a plug, I had a problem just like this on my 5.4l 2005 f150 and had to buy a special tool to remove 6 out of eight of the plugs! This was a known problem for the 5.4ls though and lots of info how to get it out. On the 3.8l in your jeep they might need to pull the head though which is not going to be inexpensive.

Sorry for the bad news

Well that sucks, its my daily Driver. Im afraid if I get the EZ out extractor shit will fall into the cylinder. I made the mistake of using the spark plug socket trying to loosen it out, shoulda used a regular 5/8" socket.

How much does pulling the head out cost? and should I just finish the other 2 spark plugs left?

Man. I'm sorry. That is no fun.

Did the rest of the insulator come out, or did it fall into the cylinder?

Got an appointment tomorrow at an auto shop. $160

At this point Im not going to try and compromise anything, Ill just drive it there..its like 4 miles, so far everyone is saying it should be ok to drive as the cylinder is sealed with the stuck spark plug..only thing is that the cylinder will have fuel spraying into the cylinder head.

In the future is may be a good idea to use antiseize when installing new plugs. Thats what I plan on doing soon

U can drive it there. Remove that cylinders plug wire, and prepare for a misfire and a check engine light. Fords 3v v8 with the long spark plug is notorious for this happening, but it's due to a two piece design spark plug.. They have since fixed it. The JK plug is one piece.there are lots of tool company's, including Lisle that make a kit specifically for this problem. There is a chance debris will fall into the cylinder, so if u have a mechanic who can do it, I'd just pay the money and be done with it..
I would also apply a little anti seize to the new plugs, so this doesn't happen again.
Just remember one thing in regards to mechanic work.... Nothing is easy, or ever goes as planned!
