Going against the grain - Personally I'm against anti-seize on plugs. I've used it in the past, and all it really did for me was coke up on the threads. BMW (wifes car) does not recommend it; says it can cause the plugs to have a poor ground to the head.
Those were factory plugs w/ 88,000 + miles, this is the first time I pulled them. The three on the driver side were easily loosened with a breaker bar, I dont know if it is the angle and accessibility on the passenger side, but it was a PITA and a failed attempt.

That may sound right about getting poor conductivity but traditionally, if your not putting antisieze on the spark plugs your looking for bigger problems.

Factory plugs were replaced with Double Platinum Auto Lites, so far very smooth and from what I read on other threads this is a good spark plug and havent seen any bad reviews on them. I was getting 14 MPGs now I've climbed slowly to 15.2 MPGs, hoping to get every ounce of this.

Why dont they put antisieze on there to begin with. Should be a "snap" to get out next time around. LOL

some dont like to put antiseize on spark plugs because it interferes with the spark plugs grounding, which will cause inconsistent or no arcs.

Get a little bottle of Champion Spark Plug Anti-Seize. It's designed for this situation and doesn't interfere with the plug's grounding.
After all, it's good for aircraft engines, where you certainly want the plugs to fire every time, yet be easy to remove.
