Default Hemi all the way

Hemi all the way.. I have a 5.7 VVT Truck Motor (different from the cherokee or Car) and its awesome. I am heavy with D60s f/r 40" toyos and armor all the way around and it moves. Freaks people out when I tear off the line at a stop light and leave them. I can cruise up the mountains at 80mph all day long. I did it this spring to MOAB from CA. A buddy of mine with a 3.8 and 35s couldn't keep up on the mountain passes. There are some down sides though... just kidding it rocks!!

I'm in the process of doing the hemi swap this December and if you search the hemi threads with my ID you'll see that with a little patience you can get it on the cheap and get it done. I only paid $1,000.00 for my 2012 Jeep Commander Hemi engine and tranny and only spending $8,000.00 to get it put in. The AEV conversion kit is the most costly part of the whole deal. But then again in the end I'll have a fresh V8 engine with only 7,654 miles on it. Kinda like having a new jeep again but with a hell of a lot more POWER.

Agreed. I have asked that same question in Hemi swap threads before as well and heard nothing but crickets lol.

How about this...
... for those of you who already have their Hemi, or those that do not plan on doing this swap where should we be watching to source the engines and transmissions?
