Default Hi-Jack hood mount

Does anyone know who make a good mount for the hi-lift on the hood? I have seen some that require drilling which I am not interested in. I could have sworn I saw some that mounted solely to the existing hinges but now that I want to buy I can't find them anywhere!

How about this one, is it adaptable to the JK?

This is one of the easiest accessories to make for the JK or any wrangler for that matter; I'm starting on mine after I finish my bumper; more power to those who custom fab their own parts!

Sure beats me tossing it in the back. Anybody have experience with the one shown. How rigid is it. I just see it coming through the windshield at me.

I saw it on another members jk and its not moving unless the hood bolts break and I dont see that ever happening, also that is the strongest part of the hood, they make the make mount for tj's......you cant move it, it doesnt flex at all

you can see some pics of it here on his jeep

Thats a very cool hood mount, I can see a trip to the body shop if you slip while mounting the jack after using it.....

I did this for now, after a rear bumper and tire carrirer go on I'll make my own mount for the rear bumper I suppose...

I simply took the jack apart and zip tied the "shaft" and handle to the bottom of the rear seat and put everything else in the rear storage....

I definitely like the simplicity of this, if like me, you will not be using the Hi-Lift very often!
