The wheel strap is actually a very cool accessory for a number of reasons. If you don't have HD bumpers, you can lift the wheel and not damage it, and if you get a flat it works really well. As you said, with better flex it sucks changing tires on these vehicules, so what you do is lift the wheel sufficiently, then you put whatever else you want under the axle to hold it up, and you can change the tire. A lot easier than lifting your Jeep 4 ft in the air cause of the flex.

thanks for taking the time to explain that, I will pick up that accessory. I ordered the mount for my tire swing.

or you could just get the aev jack base, the hi-lift really was not made to change a tire
