Default HighRock 4x4 Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier by Bestop

Saw this as a new item on 4wd.com and the price is awesome.

Does anyone else have this.

Highlights:
comes with rear brake light extension
Holds up to 40in tire
Hi lift jack mount
Fire extinguisher mount
OPENS WITH TAILGATE
and if it really did work, looks like the ability to add their departure roller (don't think I would ever add it though)

It has all the cool additions that the $1k plus bumpers and carriers have all in one.
At a ridiculous price! $728

My only concern is quality and that receiver hitch.

Guess I could call bestop and see if that hitch reduces towing capacity. But at the price I don't think it would be a down point

If this has already been addressed please move post and direct me to where I can look further

The bestop website has pictures that show behind the mounted tire with the jack and fire extinguisher mounts

Default No Jerry can mounts

Just realized one con....the 1 arm style does take out the ability to use the normal side mounted Jerry can holders. Of course I'm sure one can be fabricated.

If you go for it, check truckaddons .com, $667 with free shipping. Or have 4wd/4wp pricematch.

I'm really leaning towards this bumper/carrier. It has everything I need.

It is scheduled to come out mid-June. It can be preordered, but until I am sure I want it, I'll wait. The dilemma is I have a feeling that the price will go up once it hits the market.

The one thing that I have reservations about is the receiver hitch. I tow so I need an actual tow rated hitch...not an accessory hitch (bike racks).

Talked to bestop separate times and each rep tells me something different. One says it's an accessory hitch and another will tell me it's rated.

At least with the smittybilt bumper/tire carrier it uses the factory receiver so I know that is rated.
