Personally I'm used to it and like the hood flutter, gives the Jeep character.
A friend was over to my house this weekend with his brand new JK (second one, his wife now having the first). He complained about the hood dance. So I told him I'd take care of it for him. When we went to put a couple Zip-ties on his latches, I noted that the hood did not pop up--apparently at some point someone had removed the hood spring. Anyway, he now has Zip-ties. I have every confidence that they will stop his hood dance.
