How to fix your mirror ding.
Wait till you try to take your doors off on a hill with the jeep nose down hill or on a windy day...you'll know what they are after that
Both of my JK's have had them....Not dents...dimples on my jeeps cheeks

looking at them again...They don't look that bad and do serve a purpose. I would only put the corner piece on if anything, not so cool with the cowling piece. Better than buying a new body panel from the stealership. If you can't stand looking at the dent.
Rust????
What the heck is rust? That is something that never crosses my mind down here. The paint fades and turns to chalk or the clear coat cracks then peels off. Plastic parts shatter like thin sheets of glass as they age and your soft top windows turn yellow and crack. Of course this does take a few years. To each there own, that’s what makes the Jeep thing so much fun. Just don't slam it and put whoopty spinner rims on it and I'll manage to not pick on ya to bad

Sounds like the pop rivet on....or like someone else said you could always try some double sided sticky tape. The heat down here would kill the tape so I think pop rivets would be the way to go. IF>>>>you can stomach drilling into the jeep.
