I have a 2015 2 door rubicon with a factory 1” Llift.

I want to install a shock/suspension system where as when I load up the back or hook up the boat to take to the launch the Jeep won’t snag at the back end.
Was thinking of air shocks and an onboard dual action air compressor where I can firm up the shocks when under load and loosen off when not.
Any and all suggestions and advice is appreciated. With this system what are the advantages and disadvantages, pitfalls?

Have you looked at air bags? You should not fill a shock with air from a compressor as it will introduce moisture into the shock and it will corrode.

that is great advise. Thanks. Had not thought of that.
what would you advise then?
is there a make of compressor that does not add moisture?
if a air bag is rubber or silicone does moisture matter?

All compressors will push moisture, you could add an air dryer to the system but shocks should be filled with nitrogen. You could just plumb up a small nitrogen bottle to an air shock and fill it that way. The air bags won't care about moisture.
