I need a DEFINATIVE answer please!
I only do light wheelen, logging roads and mountain climbing, I am a punk ass though and love the look and respect you get with a lifted jeep! I love the idea of pulling up to some jag off that thinks his FJ is cool, yell at him with my PA and floor it! If you do any wheelen at all just get a 2.5 with shocks and springs and good enough. I bought the T F 2.5 econo and 3/4 spacers today from QT, as well as my black steel wheels and my nitto muds!
I've got 5.38's waiting to install in near future and I'm just curious. AND no I don't plan on RACING my JK on the street anyway...
EDIT: sorry for hijacking! but like its been said before i think the 2.5 from either RC or teraflex is your best bet!
5.13's do well for me, but I'm not trying to smoke the tires or yell at people when I take off. Maybe you misunderstood the intention of my post. If you wanna do stuff like that, invest in a good handgun for when someone runs you off the road and you have to defend yourself, and have some rich parents to bail you outta the trouble you started from being an asshole to someone for no reason.
2.5" Rough Country will work but you're gonna sag in the front and you'll need wheels and or spacers if you're going offroad. It doesn't rub with 35s driving on the street unless you like to do circles or make extra sharp turns all of the time.
I would say the 2.5" TeraFlex lift would be a better bet because you're going to get a little more than 2.5" of lift and its going to have a better spring rate to hold up that bumper and winch combo that you're running.
I've also installed the Rough Country 3.25" lift kit which is composed of 2.5" coils and .75" coil spacers. Its an extremely easy install and I think it would be plenty of height to keep you level with your bumper/winch.
Either way you need to plan on a set of wheels or spacers (1.5" to be exact) if you want to be able to go offroad worry free.
Here's my Unlimited with the 2.5" RC coil kit and 35x12.50R17 KM2s with 1.5" wheel spacers.

sorry to hijack but what % tint do you have on your front windows? looks awesome

I like low-riders just fine, but if you don't mind a little more height and space between your fender wells and tires you could go with the teraflex 3" or their 2.5" coil kit. Marcus had to keep his lower to the ground cause his chihuahua doesn't have shins.
jk marcus its looking good man.
I have the Teraflex 3" and 35s:

However, there is a guy here running 35s with no lift and flat flares.
I know you can do it in the front on stock bumpstops if you adjust your steering stops and remove or trim the stock plastic lower air dam.
However, in the rear you would need either extended bumpstops or modifications to the pinch seam/inner wheel well to do it without extended bumpstops.
