Just about every Jeep trail in existence was blazed in a CJ with regular wheels. Beadlocks are nice but by no means necessary.

Agreed, the Rubicon is an easy trail. By 2017 they will probably have it paved.

Not sure what input I can give you. You are describing running 35's on a 2" lift with 10" travel shocks in my mind but don't want to have to buy things twice if you change your mind which you will find out is impossible. If going coil overs go at least 12" travel and I would pass on a bolt on kit. You can always buy threaded shocks without the hardware to keep the cost down and add the coils later. Your headlock wheels will be nice but only you can decide what is going to be best for your set up and driving style.

what else you looking for? tires may give a little more clearance and will clearance the difs. If thats the tire size you want may make more sense to do that then confirm research on the lift you want...
