The fix is an adjustable track bar.
This is not the great engineering and complete kits they brag about. If that's normal, something is wrong with the kit. They should include a new track bar or at minimum a bracket to compensate.

Just my .02 cents,
Gary

I would just replace the brackets asap with extended links or quick discos. Might want to think about replacing any other relocation brackets they put on your Jeep as well with the right parts. Brackets like they use are the cheap way out of doing it right.

Agreed... kinda.

I suppose the axle being off centered a very small amount and the link leaning slightly really does not pose any major issues (link ends may wear out sooner?). The cost of a new track bar would probably add a couple hundred dollars to the kit, moving it away form a budget lift. That being said, a bracket would be cheap and get the job done.... why not one of those AEV?

Also... If the axle is off centered and causing the link to be on an angle, why is it the drivers side perfect? Should'nt it be on the same angle?

Looking at mine, which is still stock, it appears the curbside would look worse when the axle moves over than the streetside. Moving the swaybar over would totally fix this, but because so many Rubicons will use this kit, it seems AEV should accommodate the axle shift in the design of their sway bar brackets.

I ordered an adjustable front track bar and sway bar extensions with discos today. Basically the 2.5 XP is a $1300 kit for which AEV only provides the first $900 worth of parts. Add in TF front speedbumps and TF rear bump stops and its closer to 2 grand. Hopefully I will be blown away by the results.

oP...Normally this kit does not cause that much axel shift...it's simply not high enough. In the last set of pics your passenger coil is leaning out as well. If the axel did shift THAT much, there is another problem at hand. Imo
Are your tires sticking out from the fenders equally? Or is your drivers side sticking out farther...?

The compressed springs probably have nothing to do with the strange swaybar angle, but still looks kinda unusual.
AEV coils are progressively wound. This helps maintain a soft ride without too much sag once bumpers, winches and gear are added to the vehicle. The first part of the coils travel ( bottom of the coil) is soft and will progressively get stiffer through up travel or sag due to gear. The down side is that progressive coils tend to yield a little less flex. The up side is a great ride without losing too much lift once gear and aftermarket bumpers etc are added.

You will be happy with the ride.

The lower mounting on this should be inboard of the new lower mounting bracket, hence the cut out in the forward face to allow the link to rotate forward as the axle drops. Have a look at the pdf fitting instructions on the AEV website..........

Your mechanic installed the bottom ends outbound.
