Installed my AEM last weekend. Easy install, and no CAI whistle!

I have a Airaid with a K&N foam prefilter. I only have to clean the prefilter i. Dust never gets to the air filter .

Have an Airaid on my JK and along with the Magnaflow, the nice sound and added "pep" is very nice!! No whistle on mine. I got the sleeve which covers the filter, I hope that will help keep the filter in top shape!

I have the volant and like it alot. I went with it because of it containing its own box. Nice sound, no whistle, seems like minor pickup in hp.

I have a K&N kit from Rusty's Offroad for 100.00 shipped. Water fording is an issue though with most. I can put my stock box back on in under 10 min. with this setup. See how it uses the stock tube. Nice sound - lots of air - No whistle - great price

Okay does this mean that I won't have problems water fording? i also want to be able to clean my engine by just hosing it down, can I do this with this intake?

I run the AEM Brute Force. The dry flow air filter is easy to clean with water or AEM solution and helped with mid-range power.

I stand corrected. The whistle has arrived. Its not too bad, but it definately whistles.
