If I had extra dough I'd have gotten the Volent but I have been very happy with the Airaid and thier customer service is top-notch! In-fact I informed them of a problem I had with the instructions and suggested a particular solution and they changed their instructions almost imediately! Wow. And the sent me some cool stuff.

so far, the best i've driven is a jk with the airaid, sounds nice at low speeds and has a mean growl at higher rpms.

Hey there...

i use the magnaforce; nice midrange power boost, works especially well with a chip.

easy to remove and clean....

I used the AEV on my TJ and loved it. I plan on doing the same on my JK. I really liked the oil free filter. It was very easy to maintain and noticed a small but perceivable power boost on the 4.0.

Can you take some pictures of the volant? Also is this a dry filter system (no oil).

Some claim that adding a pre-filter will do it, haven't tested this theory myself though. The whistle I have is very subtle, since I listen to the radio/cd player all the time it is a non-issue.

Another plug for the Volant. Very well built. Worth the money in my opinion.

My only experience with any other brand was Airaid on S10 p/u 5-6 years ago. Did its job but.

Will try to post pictures of the Volant in a little bit.

I've always used K&N, and I love their products. It also has a whistle, but it's actually kinda cool. It lets you know it's sucking in more air

Here are some pics of the Volant. Sorry about the quality - only had my cell phone today.
