See, WOL has it figured out. Don't think of it as expensive, think of it as an opportunity.

Yeah, an expensive opportunity! Given my propensity to upsell myself I'd have to do the front and back!

Default JK belly skids

I agree with most of the comments. Depends how you wheel, pick the right line and you don't need them, peace of mind, etc. Just remember most of the skids available are not cheap and they add allot of weight to your JK and reduce access for maintenance or repairs. I have the Rock Hard engine-trans-evap skids. I've never weighed them together, but I would guess they are a least a 100 or maybe 150 pounds. I wasn't pleased with the fit quality either. The OEM transmission and trasfer case fit the mounting points perfectly while the Rock Hard skids need to be forced to seat themselves (especially the transfer case skid). I did not like that considering the money I paid. Rock Hard did not consider my fit issue a problem and instructed me to just tighten the bolts down and it will take the proper shape.

I have the skid Row oil pan skid. I got it as a precaution.
The Transfer case skid seems to be working well.
The gas Tank will probably need replacing or covered up soon.
I will be relocating my evap canister soon. My Tom Woods driveshaft seems to be protecting it for now.....
