JK Roof Rack
I'd like to see the rack down on the soft top and see the clearences. It looks like it would touch the soft top as low as it is on the hard top in the pictures. I just installed a Warrior Products Safari rack and I have less than 2" of clearance in the back over the soft top, which is just fine, and the front sits about 6" up due to the slope in a soft top that the hard does not have. The pics could be deceiving but the rack supports appears to sit about 2" lower, which would touch the soft top in the back expecially when it puffs up and over time could cause damage to the soft top.
Here's my top, with a view on how close it is int he back.

me either
I emailed them about the rack.. and got a quick response..
"The pricing is as follows:
Jeep JK 4-dr Stealth $1,699
Ladder 218.95
Hi-Lift 149.95
Ax/Shovel 149.95
(2) sets PIAA 2100 470.00 ($235/set of 2)
TOTAL $2,687.85
At this time we are offering a special package price of $2,295.00. That
package would include all the items listed AND FREE freight. That's a BIG
savings for our valued customer! "
VERY expensive if you ask me.. unfortunately the price scratched the rack from my list.
I have been speaking with Gobi and plan a trip to their manufacturing facility soon since I live in Colorado and they are in Denver (Commerce City). I also have been speaking with a current customer who has the 4 dr version installed that lives in Canada to get some user feedback. With the price I want to be sure I am getting everything I expect and everything they are advertising. They do have one of the best looking racks on the market but functionality is important along with durability. When I spoke with Gobi on the phone they told me they could extend the basket floor to the front of the rack to increase the floor area and usability. Hope this helps someone and I will post any new news I get.

I also did not like the 1/2 coverage so i called them directly and for $100 more they covered the whole floor.
It is beautiful, very sturdy, and well built.
Couple of points:
- I installed the new AEV snorkel, and it required a spacer tab to work with the rack mount front/right.
- Also, I had the Mopar fuel door installed and had to trim about 1/2" off to be able to open.
I'll post new pics of the whole thing next week.
I got it on a deal with free ladder and shipping (California).
Well worth the wait (special order due to custom bottom) and the price.
Highly recommend.....
Be happy to take specific photos if you want.

Have you guys ever seen this rack?!? I think it is beautiful!!!
