JKUR - Rock Krawler 1.5" Coils for 285/75/17s
After installing my Warn stubby front bumper and M8000 winch, I noticed a considerable front sag, adding to the factory rake. I checked my factory front springs and saw they are the 17-rate versions, which seems to explain the drop. I am wanting to run 285/75/17s (considering the BFG KM2s or the Nittos) to get as much tire as I can and retain the factory rear carrier setup. I am already running 1.5" spacers on the stock wheels.
I'd like to run the Rock Krawler 1.5" coils with Bilstein 5100s, front and rear, but was hoping to get insight on if this will help level the Jeep, as well as how much actual lift to expect. Also my daily driver, this is an expedition-centric jeep, so I'm not worried about any crazy rock-crawling, but I'd like to take advantage of the extra lift and flexibility. From everything I've read, this combination should clear the 285/75s with no issues, but should I consider longer bumpstops or brake line extensions? Should the front RK springs compensate for the extra weight, or might I need spacers to level the front? I have a hardtop, I'm carrying tools in the back, and have the Tuffy Security Deck, so my rear is laden fairly well.
I'd love some thoughts on this setup! Thanks.

Adding another question:
The previous owner added a rear spring air bag setup to help with heavier loads. Adding the RK springs, should I even consider re-installing the bags, or get rid of them?

I have the 1.5 RK springs on my 2 door with front/rear metal bumpers, winch and tire carrier. I got about 2.5" lift maybe a little less but very close. You have a 4 door wouldn't get this much, but it was everything that I was hopping for I would recommend getting them.
I don't want to tell you to much about my setup since I have a 2 door and your will be a lot different. But I have extended brakes lines and shocks for a 4" lift. Front 2" bump stops no rear bump stops, flat fenders, and 35s.

I got just over 2 inches, have a mid width bumper and winch up front. In the rear I just have tools and spares that I carry. The shocks are the bilstien 5100 for up to 3 1/2 lift with extended brake lines. Can run longer shocks but run into drive shaft problems. Very happy with what I have. Now just larger tires.
