Just ordered my Teraflex 2.5 bb any suggestions?
Thanks everyone for being such a great resource, I think i have read practically every post on this site. You guys rule. Here's my question:
I just ordered the Teraflex 2.5 bb with shock adapters for the OEM shocks. I have already upgraded to 285/75 16 BFG A/T's and they look great but i do have a very small amount of rubbing when backing at full turn.
Anyone done this lift?
Besides the very short 2 pages of instructions from Tera anyone have any suggestions/warnings I should know about. I expect to install next weekend.
Also, I am a little worried about other posts about the ESP having issues, is this anything to worry about or is 2.5 small enough not to cause this to be a problem, or is it just the alignment of the wheel?

Hey lnufnu, welcome to JK-Forum. Regarding the TeraFlex BB, have the kit and will be doing a complete installation write-up on it but I'll need to get my JK first  But, in the mean time, you can always use this write-up to help you out as it pretty much follows a lot the same proceedures.
Jeep JK Wrangler 3" Lift Installation Write-Up
As far as the ESP goes, so long as you recenter your steering wheel, you shouldn't have any problems with it

After all the talk about 3" lifts, body lifts and what have you, I'm thinking about trying to conjour up the ultimate "Thrifty Lift" as I like to call it for those of us on super tight budget but still want to run 35's without any issues.
Need I say, TeraFlex has already sent me a 2.5" BB with the shock relocation brackets and I will probably buy a M.O.R.E. 1" body lift unless I can get them to provide the kit in exchange for the write-up and then install a set of 35" Toyo M/T's or TrXus M/T's on the factory wheels with wheel spacers. I'll keep you all up to date as to what I'll be doing

I would love to see a Budget lift build up....but dont stop at lift kits.
Do tires
RIMS
Sway Bar discos
Bumpers
Winch's (i would really love to know the best budget winch)
fairlead/winch gear
Safety gear
Accessories (gps, tools, CB's)
And anything else anyone can think of that would be good to have on the trail.
