There are plenty of things you can upgrade when and if needed.
Upper/lower control arms, front and rear sway bar links, front and rear adjustable trackbars, etc.
Just because it's RK and they advertise it as upgradable is a selling point.
Lets face it, you could upgrade a JK/JKU until there is nothing left from Jeep on it other than a frame.
Just to be clear I am not bashing RK as they make an excellent product. I have several friends who run their kits and have seen the quality and what they offer on and off the trail.
Personally, I run OME springs and use JKS componets when and where "I determine" what "I need".
If JKS didn't make what I needed then if RK or TF did I would check and see if what they offered fit the bill for my application and if so would buy it.
Doesn't hurt to mix and match in the Jeep world

That whole RK upgradable kit thing is just a marketing tactic. Every kit out there is upgradeable. While I don't recommend doing a frankenlift, there is nothing wrong with a little mix and match when it comes to the suspension. I am running TF coils, TF shocks, JKS track bars, daystar coil spacers, and RK control arms. I would feel better if all my components came from the same manufacturer, because the parts are made to work together, but its nothing a little knowledge and research cant solve.
I give RK credit though... that one word, upgradable, draws people in and sets them apart from other manufacturers in consumers minds.
edit: I should have looked at the second page before I responded. Everything important has already been said.
