I am on my second set of km2's 55k on the first and 45k on this set so far. They are good as long as you keep them rotated and balanced, I am happy with them overall but will go with Toyo next time, just because my Jeep will see more rock and less payvement in the future.

I'm running KM2s as well but like the previous peeps I'll be moving to 37 Toyos next tire set. I'd like to get more tire for my money although the KM2s are excellent tires I can't see getting tires that advertise as 35s or 37s but measure way below the measurement. That sucks!!

What tire size do you guys select on the Superchip if running 35" KM2s? do you actually select 35" or the actual tire size?

Measure the tires like the instructions say, and then fine tune if/when the speedo does not match your gps.

Take a actually tire mesurement and select the numbers you come up with. That's the most exact way to do it with the SuperChip.

What they said.... BFWIW: I have seen some actual measurements as low as 33.25" for an advertised 35" tire.

Tires running small is just like the 11" Subway footlong sandwich

saying 35s are only 34" doesnt tell the whole picture because the 34s are just over 32, maybe 33 & the 33 are barely 32 (if that)

plus it all depends on the width of the rim (run a narrowest rim allowed to get them taller), tire pressure and weight of vehicle...and of course some run smaller than others. To complain that 35s are more like 33 is not true, cause a 33 is not necessarily 33

The complaining about the KM2, or any tire "running small," does get old.

I went back through this thread and only saw one complaint on their size... But since the topic was opened.... It is true that almost all tires run below their advertised size. It's also true that the KM2s seem to stray well below the average in actual measurement. This is why it comes up so often when they are being discussed.

As often as it comes up there is always one or two that are unaware of this. It's not that big of a deal to me, but to some it is a big deal and something that could cause one to be dissatisfied with the tire.

BFG KM2's seem to run smaller than any other tire on the market. If they would measure out closer to what it says on the side wall things would be different.35's measuring closer to 33's,37's measuring closer to 35's are a big deal.My Falken's are a very close to a true 37.I loved my KM2's awesome all around especially in deep snow
