I've done complete suspension swaps on cars, particularly my Miata. But this Jeeps suspension is pretty dang sophisticated by compairson with the electronic swaybar disconnects, etc. Wish I had someone on hand who'd done this before just to boost my confidence.

It's just as simple as WOL stated but it takes me 15min's just to drag out all of the tools and get the JK jacked up!! I guess I just like to enjoy my time with the JK!

Unbolting the brake line is a good tip to keep you from over-extending it and causing it to break.

Ok, and people seem to like the Terraflex better than the Daystar, is that right?

Any other considerations?

Sure... ask yourself..... "SELF, are you gonna want to go bigger"? if so I wouldn't waste my time leveling and I would lift. But other than that... nah

WANT TO and ABLE TO are mutually exclusive ideas. My garage clearance is pretty close as is. If I lift 2" and add tires that extra clearnace is going to be -1 inch.

So while lifting is cool, turning my jeep into a chop top accidentially isn't. lol

well, you can always change out your garage door and opener to something that will offer more clearance. that's what i did to get my old CJ in (just cleared 7 feet with out the top on) and the TJ that i still have which will just clear 7 feet with the hard top on.

It's not the opener, it's the door itself.
