yeah, i hear ya. i installed a new sectional door and put in tracks that would allow the door to go all the way up and out of the way. in order to do this, i had to also use a tortion spring opener as opposed to a track.

Haven't checked the site in a while but that sounds right.

Ok, got it nailed down to 3 finalists.

1.) TerraFlex Leveling Kit 2007+ Wrangler - $39.99

2.) Daystar Comfort Ride ¾" Suspension Lift - $39.99

3.) Daystar Comfort Ride 1¾" Front & Rear Leveling Kit - $159.99

The first two appear to be bascially the same thing at the same price, although the Terraflex name carries more weight with me. The Daystar 1¾" kit would give me a bit more height without to much hastle. I do not want to do a complete suspension replacement/upgrade so the big boy kits are right out.

the 1 3/4 ths is going to be a 1'' body lift with the spacer to level the rake.

at least thats what I would assume from the daystar 1'' bl kit and the 3/4ths leveling kit...

What I did to level mine out was to first jack up the front and measure out the difference once it looked level. I ended up with 1.5". Looking here in the forum I noted that a couple of people used the 1.75" spacer quite nicely so I got one of those. Since I don't have a garage and it was winter I took it to Van & Truck World in Ottawa. Kirk (the Jeep guy) put in the spacer and lowered it for me to take a look at. It was a little too nose high so he removed the factory spacer (lowered it about 0.5"). Right now it's almost perfectly level. I'd lift it another 0.25" if I could but I'm just anal that way).

I didn't need an alignment, it drives like stock and looks way better! The best part is it cost me $60 labour in total!

It seems to me that some JK's are lower than others. I'd try the jack on the front thing first before picking out your spacer.

Well, I was planning on putting on the MOPAR steel front and rear bumpers later this year so I wonder if that would bring the nose back down to level if I followed your plan Julian.

BTW, love the Dalek!

If you do the bumpers and get a winch you will go down about 1/2inch

Not to sound crazy but wouldn't it be a whole lot simpler to just rent the coil spring compressors and only have to take the tire off on each side to slide the coil in and out?

I don't have my JK yet so I cant say from experience how far down the spring retainer sits but it just seems like a lot less work than having to disconnect everything and re-torque it.
