Default Lift Concerns...

I have a 2008 unlimited Sahara automatic. I just purchased a RC 2.5 budget boost series 2 lift. I have already purchased 33's and 16" wheels but was waiting until next week to install the lift with the help of a friend that has experience with lift installation on the jk. After reading several forums regarding lifts and DW I'm a little nervous about installing the lift at all. This is my wife's daily driver and our favorite go everywhere in vehicle. Does this lift contain everything that I need in order to successfully complete my project without sacrificing safety or dependability? I'm just looking for a good stance with a little clearance no major off roading.

You can get Death Wobble in a stock Jeep as well as one that's lifted. I have a 4.5" lift and 35's and it is my go everywhere vehicle that I take my family and 3 kids in. Use quality parts, make sure the lift is installed correctly, and keep up on the maintenance is what I would suggest. You shouldn't have a problem. Death Wobble is extremely rare and preventable as far as I know. But I'm just a noob pretty much, so don't take my word for it.

That's true about the DW. I had a 98 Cherokee that developed it without any mods. Guess that's why I'm a little more concerned about the lift. I do stay up to par on all maintenance. Just looking for info on anything I can do to prevent it.

Most everything I've read states that the ride will stay basically the same maybe just a little stiffer. Wondering if there are additional parts that I need or if this kit contains everything.

As long as you keep all your steering component bolts torqued properly you should have no problems.

That's what I'm thinking. I do wish that I had gotten the adjustable front track bar. Wondering if the 1/4" shift will cause any uneven tire ware.

I guess this is all just newbie questions, LOL!!!!!

Make sure you tighten everything up once its back on its feet. Check your mounts/bushings for your control arms, trackbar, tie rod, etc to make sure there is no play or wear.

You might look into a 9/16 bolt kit to replace the 14mm from the factory if you have any play in your suspension. Northridge sells them.

x2 on this...

But with a spacer lift like you're doing you won't have any DW to worry about.
