I will tell you this.... if you only have one floor jack... barrow another from a friend.... your life will be so much easier....

Unbolt your shocks and sway bar links... with a small lift you should not have to worry about the driveshaft..... if you dont have air tools at least spray each end of the control arms with wd 40... make them move a lot easier....make sure your jeep is high up in the air so that you have enough room underneath for the axle to drop so that the new spring can be put in.

I loosened my control arms but doesnt mean you have too..
I also used a lift which made life easier.... i installed my 4 inch superlift with front sway bar disconnects in 5 hours

Good Luck!

Unbolt your brakelines from the frame, cut the zip ties on your abs wire and get some slack.

ok final (hopefully) problem. How on earth do i get those bump stops in?! I got the yellow piece in no problem but the black extension just doesn't want to slip into the frame mount. I saw someone else put the bump stop ext. in the coil and pushed the spring into place and then used a breaker bar to get it up into its spot. I used a pry bar, hammer, a jack. Just can't seem to get it in.

I put some grease on mine and jacked the axle up with a block of wood to push the bumpstop in, I didn't have the coil on though and I used spring compressors for getting the spring back in. You may wanna try some lithium grease on the bumpstop and use a large screwdriver to pry it in. Lubin always helps!

If your installing the Terra Flex 2.5 spring lift. I started with the TF 2.5BB then added the springs. Removing the 2.5 puck by the way.
There are great insturctions on this site for the TF2.5 BB. The sping lift is the same.
Main thing to watch is the brake line and the ABS line. Pull the ABS lines loose from the 2 mounting gizmos. They come out easy, just remember to put them back. Also remove the bold that hold the two line to the frame.

Lower your axels till the slack goes out of the brake line. Stop there and put in your springs. It take a little finigling, a flat crow bar or two. Perhaps a jack with a short 2x4 on top.

Also someone on this site left the bumpstops loose in side the coils till the coils were in place. then he used something to snap then into place. I used his idea it worked great. Put a little rubber lube on the top of the bump stop it will pop in easy. Simple green is a good rubber lube, perhaps a little dish soap will work also.

Search or look through this site a little more for links to great pictures of this lift and install ideas

Now go get busy
