Lifted and having overheating issues
How hot does the temperature gauge say exactly? Like just barely past half, or in the red? How is the Jeep telling you that it's "overheating"? Also, what was the ambient air temperature outside? 70* or 105*? What elevation and how steep of a grade? If you're talking going up a mountain pass at 9000 ft elevation when it's 105* outside, then yeah, your Jeep is going to feel like you have two squirrels trying to push it up the hill. Hell, most vehicles in general will feel like that.
Also, the Pentastar 3.6L does not have variable displacement also known as "cylinder deactivation".
If you really think something is wrong, take it to a dealership. It has 3k miles on it, no point in trying to figure it out yourself when you can have some under-trained high school kids getting paid minimum wage do it for you
. But seriously, that's what the warranty is for. If it turns into a larger, unfixable, issue, you can lemon law it.
