I had the shop do it when they did the tub. This is what I always wanted to do to my JEEPS in the past but did not have the means then. Doing the door sills and lower pasrt of the JEEP and pinch seams seemed like a good way to protect things. There is not much cost involved to do this at the same time as the rest of the JEEP. I love my LINEX.

i like the floor work.

my concern is: can you leave it like that? are there any exposed cables, lines that would be a problem? what about heat?

Man ya'll JK's are NICE looking with the linX... BUT just a heads up. Granted ya'll have the warenty so KICK ASS (mine was a shady under the table kind of thing I found out AFTER I got it done :(

BUT on my CJ I did get the door openings, and over the top (where the top sits) and it has NOT held UP AT ALL.

Another thing is get it sprayed as thik as you can mine was SUPER THIN and had some bad prep.

For fading, there is a top coat called line-X Ultra (I think) and it will keep it looking nice and is a UV stabalizer.

Man I want to get the Wife one SOOOOO BAD and do this to it HA HA

These aren't very good pics, but I finally got mine done. Only paid $400, the dealer said he would have to charge $600 from now on. It was a lot more work than he thought.

Funny you should say that, the guy that did mine said he would never do another JK for what he charged me. He said it was too much work. He said he would not do another one for less than $1,100, so even at $600 it is not a bad price. Looks good and you will be glad you did this.

Funny, that is exactly the same thing my guy said as well. I paid 400 and he would have to charge 600 bucks. It looks great by the way.
