A little advice on comp cut and stretch
It's pretty much my DD. My only other mode of transportation is my bike and you can only ride a few months out of the year. Also to go anywhere is pretty much a road trip. So I need a set of tires that will last and have a multi use function. I don't care for mud anyways. Snow, big trails, and mmmmmmmmmm rocks, it's what's for breakfast.

The thing about BFG ATs is that they are made with an extremely hard rubber compound, so you're essentially trading off-road traction for longer treadlife.
If you do any sort of slickrock trails then I wouldn't recommend BFG ATs. I wheeled in Moab with a guy who had them and they didn't hook up very well on the rocks (lots of wheelspin and clouds of white smoke).
