Default looking for 4" street lift 08' Rubicon

Hello everyone, this is my first jeep I will be picking up this weekend, and immediately looking to put a 4" lift on it. I won't be doing much off roading, basically want a smooth ride on the street being a do alot of driving. I think I have decided on OME nitrochargers, but not sure what springs to go with. Would a RC 4" lift with these shocks give me a smooth ride? what other 3.5-4" lift's should I look at? looking to spend no more then a grand. I will also be running 35's. Thanks

Go with the OME HD springs. You will get 3-4 inches of lift and will ride great

With 4 inches of lift, you may need to change a lot more stuff than you are of. Check the FaQ section for good reading about what needs to be purchased at 4 inches.

NormalJeep offers good advice...4" drives a lot of changes, driveshafts and control arms at minimum.

If you aren't planning on doing much hardcore off-roading, I'd go with the TF 2.5" coil...run about $700 with shocks, no mods to steering linkage, driveshafts, etc and you can run 35s easily, great lift.

X2 on the rancho. Gave me exactly 4 inches lift. Does fine with my 35s and I'm sure will be fine for 37s next. Shocks are adjustable too. So you can kinda choose your settings as you like. And if your on a budget, I think they have a rebate goin on again. There were some folks on here that got this lift for under $400 after rebate last year!

x2 on this.

Why lift it 4" if it's just for street? Do the minimum amount for the tire size u want & hopefully you won't sacrifice too much performance.
