Default Looking at lift kits

Ok not sure if this is the right section so bare with me. I supposedly have a 6" kit from BulletProof suspension. I always find my self comparing kits and heights, and its driving me nuts. Im starting to belive that its a 4" kit and I want to go bigger. I bought the 6"shocks and coils from SkyJacker and it made a world of differance, today I called Quadratech to ask about the 6"kit with out shocks and coils and it made a 200 dollar differance in price . I paid almost 600 for them seperate . I feel like im getting it put to me, thats a rip off.

quoted 1940 shipped minus shocks and coils
w/ shocks and coils it would be like 2200 +-

That is a heck of a deal for springs and shocks, a package deal price that might be for real, for a change...

$600 for shocks? Sounds like you got ripped of when you bought the shocks initially...what type of Skyjacker shocks are they?

There the Nitro 8000's and springs for I think shipped was 675, I ordered them from Quadratech and there the ones I called about the lift price. Its freakin BS they chage 600 for shocks and coils seperate but to have them taken off the kit itself is under 200 WTF!!

Well how else do you expect them to double profit when someone else comes along and only want's the coils and shocks later?

Talking

The shocks, and coils, together, totaled $600, as coils might run 1-200/each, and the shocks are probably $50-75 each, the amount sounds normal.

As for what they charge to send the kit w/o shocks/coils...it might be a brain fart on their part...potentially the upcharge difference from the std components for the 4" vs the 6", etc.

I guess they had a huge brain fart. Quadratech lost out on my business today I went to a local shop and had them order the kit 6"long arm w/out shocks and coils will be here on the 4th for 1500.
