That looks awesome! And very patriotic. Im Canadian, I'm actually thinking of doing that with a Canada flag instead of spending 100+ on spidershade, etc. any recommendations on securing it down? Aside from just using bungee cord on the 4 corners.....any flapping?

From a red blooded eagle scout, us army abn medic who lost my femur and hip while serving this Country. I think your flag rocks. As long as she's waving freely and patriotically then good for you. It takes guts to stand up for what you believe in. Congrats

The 2 dr rear headrests are easily removed, the 4 dr has the folding non-removable type (anything can be removed with the right tools).

I took mine off my 2012 4 door. I used a big ass pair of bolt cutters. The back seats are down all the time anyhow. I don't miss em a bit.

Just posted this in my gear review thread HERE

Two times, I've been on runs where a fuse has blown. On my own rig, the fuse for the fuel pump went. No rime or reason. It happened about three years ago and has never happened since. Another time, we missed diagnosing the fuse as the problem and three hours of trail towing and a tow truck ride later, we learned that the fuse was the problem. EVERY rig should carry spare fuses. But what to do when your fuse blows and for some reason you miss that it's the problem. Here's the best answer that I have. Harbor freight carries fuses that light up when a fuse blows. They have an integrated LED in every fuse. They work very well and will assure that you don't miss a blown fuse indication again.

Default Plastic zip ties and soft top

one of the simplest and easiest ways to mitigate stress when dealing with the soft top is to fasten zip ties around each zipper string. It makes taking the windows on/off SO much easier, especially the rear window, which can be a real pain.

Hope it helps! Btw, sorry for no pic...I'll try to get one up soon

Thanks for everyone's support of the American flag sunshade idea. I of course meant no disrespect to our flag. Just thought it was a neat idea to use a flag as a sunshade, and what better flag than the stars and stripes. I agree that the flag should be respected and those of you who don't agree with my setup have every right to have that opinion. I think it is better than all the tattered vehicle flags that have been ripped apart in the wind and ignored.
