Low-cost / Free mods that should be done?
Have you done this on a 2011 or 2012? Because I have yet to meet anyone who has successfully done this on a 11 or 12. They are not stickers. It is printed directly on the visor. Maybe there is some chemical that would be successful but no has yet to find that chemical or method.
Actually I put the screws back to hold the plastic thing but you get the point; remove the visors.... its a free mod !

i saw this thread today and now ive read it from start to finish and loved it at one point i busted out my notebook so i wouldn't forget stuff. cheapest mod i have done so far is an i pod mount for those of us without power windows i put a peace of velcro tape on between the front two air vents on center dash and one on the back of i pod works great and no more searching for i pod
I did the zip ties on the tie downs awhile ago. Might have helped but still had some flutter. Removing the spring worked so much better IMO. I didn't like seeing the ties either. Tested it last night. 80mph and solid.
No one posted a pic of the "Dimple" mod. I did that 2 hours after buying my Jeep. Actually has bothered me ever since but now that it is a "mod". I like it!
A couple more pics of the Puck prep. Forgot to mention, use only pucks from Canada or Czechoslovakia. They use a higher grade of rubber for production.
Cheers.
