Default Lower control arm questions

A anyone running 3" of lift and only lower aftermarket control arms and factory uppers? I had a bushing go bad in my front lower and thought about replacing all the lowers. Pros and cons? Thanks!

no big deal. The uppers dont see near the stress the lowers do. You should still be able to set pinion. Only thing you wont be able to do is center the axle in the wheel well, but thats no biggie.

We prefer to start with the lower control arms in our kits, you will be absolutely fine to use adjustable lowers with the factory uppers!

Glad you guys chimed in haha! I am torn between your arms and synergy... Can you guys give me a comparison of the two?

I've been running just lowers for nearly 20,000 miles with plenty off road. No issues. Yet.

I would definitely recommend RK arms. One of the best in the business, although if you went Synergy you would also get a great product. The well known brands all make a good product, it's pretty much personal preference.

Same here..just lowers. A set of rustys. Good price and no problems after 30,000 miles. Just gotta grease em every so often.

I thought about the rustys cause I'm running their lift. I heard they try to bind up a little more than the Rock crawlers or synergy. What do you think? Any pics flexing them?

Really... you're going to ask this question from the manufacture?

Do you really need that much handholding to pull out your wallet?

If you want a sales pitch, might invite the other side, no?

Why do you "definitely" make this recommendation? Have you run both to know the differences? Do you understand the differences? Why are they one of the best in the business?

And buddy... just love your "well known brand" reference. What does it really mean? I see two "well known" companies here.... one for it's pumping of ad dollars upon the unsuspecting and one because of a reputation has been built in the off road industry. Either company may or may not put out good product, but being a well known company has nothing to do with it. Your former leader was well known, as was his likeness, Kim Jong Il... neither of which turned out a quality product.
