As for the Rescue concept, I think the Xenon flares would be the closest (or just tape off the factory front flares and try for the same look by painting them partially).
The best part of the Rescue was the diesel (basically a 3/4 ton Dodge drivetrain if I remember correctly), so if you're really going to mimic it...........

However, I wouldn't trade the CJ. Sell it outright if you have to sell it at all. Unless its junk/money pit. I'd keep it.
