hitting 80mph in a trashbag is impressive, but it's still a trashbag...

Probably the same engine as our beloved JKs. Double fail. :-)

I'm going to look in to speed mods now. If it were an airplane I'd be smoothing out those rivets...

So, what's the best bang for the buck for horsepower? It's an 08 2dr on 35" w/ 4". I need a regear I know but anything else? Anybody turbo'd these things?
Owned!! Not to mention he also gets 3x the mpg. Just keep thinking what a Prius would look like offroad and you will soon feel better.

Just set back, hear the hum of the tires and enjoy.

I know how you feel about the highway ability of the jeep, but i just got my jeep out this pass week on the trails (for the first time) and the family loved it!!!! NO way I could of done that with the Prius.
Ditto....I have both also! I traded in my dodge charger for my prius because of gas. My friends are pretty surprised when I'm doing 90 on the freeway. It's not that bad of a car.

A UPS truck took me off the line last week right up to about 50mph. I couldn't catch him. It was late in the day and maybe his truck was empty, lol!

Yesterday I was passed by a prius with a huge magnetic sign on the side that said "This car gets 50mpg.". I thought to myself, where I like to go that car gets zero mpg!

I would have to agree the pentastar is so much better (had fun with a Audi off the line and I hung with him up to about 60 and then he pulled away), as far as the Prius I would think since it was running off the battery it's turning an electric motor and that's straight torque, just think in 10-15 years a battery pack replacement is in his future for who knows how much money. Also the gas mileage on the new pentastar is pretty impressive I have been averaging 17-19 mixed highway and city driving.

To keep up with normal traffic I have to get on my Jeep pretty hard. Worth it but god I'd love a v8.
