Default Metal fenders, which are the best?

I've been trying to find out which flares are the overall best.

1) easiest to install.

2) looks.

3) price.

4) strength.

5) require body cutting/trimming. (would like to avoid this)

On my last JK I had Xenon fender flares and I liked the look of them but they warped during shipping and the front one was really warped around the LED light. I know these are minor complaints and the company I ordered them from was very helpful and sent me out new flares. This time around I want something thats more durable.

Personally, I'm looking for narrow or skinny flares. I've been reading multiple threads about each flare. Would like to hear from people/vendors about their flares.

If there is a thread already about this, sorry.

The only ones I've seen are from river raider. Cost is about 1200 for all 4. Been looking at those over the weekend wondering if they're worth the price.

Those are really nice. I just don't know if 1200 on fenders is worth it. Do they require any cutting/trimming?

I like the Poison Spyder ones, but they look like trimming is needed. Also looked at ACE fenders but haven't seen many pics of them, also the ACE ones are under 600 for all 4 and come powdercoated.

I was also looking at poison but saw this chop job and think it looks great....and cheap. I'm gonna try this first and see how it goes.

When you chop up stock flares, do they lose any strength? Like will they start to sag or anything?

That is a good way to achieve the look as well as offer some clearance for larger tires. You can also kind of customize the way you cut the fender to give it your own look. The downside to that is if you push up against a tree you will still crack them. With the tube fenders it will help eliminate that possibility.

I've got the PSC flares and the only thing they require is drilling for the nutserts. It was a pretty easy install jsut take your time. I got mine in Aluminuim and I've been really happy with them. Their strong and durable if you get them you won't be disappointed.

I've heard xenon has some. Not sure of quality or ease of installment. They are around $500. Now the ones that I like are GenRight's tube fender. They come in steel and aluminum and are around $450 for the front and I think about the same for the rear 2. These are real easy to install. There is a guy on youtube that installed them on the front. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3BAIVY25y0

Edit:
Sorry didn't realize you said something about the xenon flares. My fault

The only steel flares I like are the Poison Spyder ones but I think the stockers are better (don't laugh). I have basically folded them several times on trees and rocks and they just pop back out with no damhe at all to my body. Sure, someday they may get completely ripped off but it's been 3 years and they have taken a beating. If you need the clearance, try the chop job as mentioned above. My fear with metal fenders is what happens when the force is so strong that they begin to bend into the body? Not sure what type of strength is needed to do that but I've had no issues with my stockers protecting me so far. And I've hit a lot of trees...
