I'd like to hear your impressions on the ride quality when you finally get to try it out. I'm on the fence between switching either coils, or switching shocks.

Default 3,5" on 2 Door

Can anyone with the 3,5" lift on a 2 door let me how may coils on the top of the springs are full compressed at ride hight?? We have the 3,5" lift on a 2 door and have 7 coils on the top full compressed at ride hight. I friend with the 3,5" lift on his 4 door only has 4 coils fully compressed at ride hight. I just want to make sure that we are not experiencing sag at the coils up front.

Both Jeeps are equal build with aftermarket bumpers and winches. We are running a soft top and he has a hard top on.

Thanks for the help.

They're different coils. Would be much more scientific to measure your actual lift heights and compare. There are images posted that show the proper place to measure. It will tell you how much actual lift height you have vs. a stock JK.

Thanks, I know they are different coils. I have the image on the computer and will look at it later. I was just hoping someone with the same lift can give me a comparison. I can't remember that there were 7 compressed coils after the lift was installed.

A little delay on my install. My installer was sent the wrong ball joints. One set for a JK and one set for a Dodge. Had to overnight some which still haven't shown up. Once installed still needs to be aligned. Worse than the wait is a two day install has turned into a 4-5 day install. It's frustrating but not much I can do about it. I'm sure the lift performance and looks will make me forget about the problems so far. Hopefully pics tomorrow.
