Any suggestions for mirrors when running trail doors?

x4 Love my Die Tech's, well worth the $$

Found a shop to do the welding and powder coating for a mirror that will work like mopars but better. I will post pics when I'm done. Wish me luck!

I just got my DieTech brackets installed :-) Just as sturdy as the factory hard door mount. Maybe I will even buy another set of mirrors later on, so I don't have to fiddle with on and off.

Best of luck on that! Hope someone solves this problem soon. Don't know why someone hasn't just made a longer bracket for the passenger side so it sits out further. I have the Rugged Ridge Relocation Bracket for the Driver's side and a auto parts store spot mirror setup for the passenger side which is OK but not what I want. Tried the RR Quick Release Brackets and they are really sweet but I just couldn't get the passenger one tight enough to not move while driving so I gave up on it. Still searching for a nice setup for the passenger side and trying to make something myself. The RR or Mopar Relocation Brackets would be perfect if they just made the passenger bracket stick out another 2-3 inches where the stock mirror attaches. Don't understand why that is so hard to do.

I contacted dietech about the mirrors for my 2012 but they said that they would not work.... Does anyone know the difference in the hinge on a 2012 that makes them not work. (I have an extra set of mirrors bc mine are powered and heated)

I'm with you man, great idea. I lost my passenger mirror this morning on the highway. The threads were stripped from constantly swapping it from my hard door and the windshield mount.
