Nice setup. I like! Does it whistle when riding down the highway? I tried the RR Quick Release mirrors and they had a nice whistle as soon after I started moving.

These are about the third or fourth iteration of these mirrors..

I made the brackets, the arms are vintage CJ, the mirrors are.. can't remember.

Nice size though.

They are dead steady at any speed. These are keepers.

Has anybody tried the american outlaw mirrors? How are they with road noise and ease of use? I like the non-permanent attachment since I can't keep the jeep in the garage right now and have to toss the doors and top back on when it rains. I'm considering these but they are really pricey!

I took off my DieTech mirror brackets from my '08 JKU and installed it on my '12 JKU-R. It fits the hinge and bolts onto the door hinge perfectly. The only thing I had to do was grind down the mirror's mounting rod (the two long rods that the bolt screws into)...

I went to the local Harley dealer and ordered a short stem black oval mirror. Looks awesome and works great. He asked what I was riding and i turned and pointed, " 07 Wrangler right there" LOL! Here's some pics and part number.

I have the long stem Harley mirrors. The mirrors are great with little to no vibration. The only issue is that the threads do not stick out enough when sitting in the door hinge. I need to way to add an extension so I can get a tighter more secure mount.

For about the same money you can get the RR Quick Disco mirrors. I am much happier with them than I was my Harley ones.
