Modded door handle write up
So I know this is out there, but I really couldn't find a good write up on it. I decided to post this to show you how i did my door handles and how they turned out. Here is how to drill your handles. ***i am not responsible for any mistakes you make if you attempt this***
What you will need:
-1/2" bit & drill
-measuring tape
-old rag or shop rag
-razor blade
You have total of 4 1/4" of drilling space on each handle. I found center and measured in intervals to evenly space out the holes. See the template I made below for this.

Once you have your template made, mark the handles with the razor blade and get ready to drill. Make sure you have the rag behind the handle before drilling or it will punch through and get your paint. When you are drilling, make sure to hold the drill level to make sure you are making an even hole. Once you have your holes drilled, take your razor blade and clean the excess plastic away. That's it!!!

heres a little tip i learned really quick when doing this a while back.
lightly wrap your hand in a rag and grab an old larger sized spoon to catch the drill as it punches through. once the drill be bites, it comes through FAST. this way you catch it in the spoon before giving the body side of your handles some extra scratched and dented 'character'
good write up and easy mod with great rugged look
