Thanks for the info.

I will stop and get them today. I was out at Rausch Creek on Saturday and almost put them to the test but the guy behind me finally got out using a different line and some spotting.

It was crazy how light the stock bumper was. 100% plastic.

Side where logo was:

Hope the photos help. It's a very clean looking bumper.
Would you mind posting a shot of the bumper from the side? Showing it close up like this photo? Seems the previous Jeep bumpers had visible overlaps at the ends. Thank you.

PS - Could one of you guys post some pix of the bushings you're using to stop the shackle from rattling? Thanks.
Good to hear.
I am picking up some new 3/4 D-Rings today and when I get them on with the bushings I will get a photo posted.

This is mine with the ballcock washer installed. They are sold in the plumbing section at Lowes/Home Depot. Someone did an a piece in the writeup section.
No more rattle.

I stopped by and picked up the D-Rings at Quadratec today and bought the Ballcock washers at Lowes. 3 are needed. They were $1.59 each. I used one full washer and cut the other in half for the other side. 2 were to wide to fit.
Perfect solution thanks roketman

Just curious about the dimensions from an engineering stand point.

The shear strength of 36ksi steel is about 21.6 ksi (0.6*Fy). I can't tell how thick that steel is... 1/2inch?

So, the shear strength against tear-out will be

T=21,600lbs*2*(thickness)*(Distance from hole to edge)

If that's 1/2inch plate & the edge distance is 3/4 inches...

T = 21.6*2*.5*.75 = 16,000 lbs. If you use a F.S of 2.0 that would be rated around 8,000 lbs.

Those are just about right. 1/2" thick and just about 3/4" hole to edge.
I will have to trust you on your math I just had a few beers so I'm just glad I had enough motivation to go out in the garage and get the measurements.
